Job DescriptionResponsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ATM applications, middleware, transaction processing systems, and hardware integrations.
- Build and execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end automated test suites to improve software quality and release readiness.
- Develop automation solutions for ATM transactions including cash withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, card services, and image processing.
- Validate ATM hardware components including card readers, cash dispensers, receipt printers, deposit modules, recyclers, and barcode scanners within a lab environment.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and partner with engineering teams to resolve defects and improve platform stability.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, QA analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement of automation coverage, testing efficiency, reporting, and quality engineering best practices across ATM platforms.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating complex processes
Skills & Qualifications- Strong experience with ATM Software Testing, ATM Transaction Processing, and ATM Device Integration Testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or other automation scripting languages.
- Cloud Automation experience
- Experience building scalable Test Automation Frameworks, including Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid, and BDD approaches.
- Expertise in API Testing, REST/SOAP Services, backend transaction validation, and database testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Git.
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner), and enterprise application environments.
- Strong understanding of Quality Engineering, System Integration Testing, Defect Management, Root Cause Analysis, Agile/Scrum Delivery, and Financial Services Technology Platforms.
- On-call may be needed to support the automation frameworks.
Location expectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
