Who you are:

As a Quality Automation Engineer II - Data Engineering, you are our quality control, ensuring every application is stable and built with integrity, caring and excellence. You’ll play an important role in the design, creation, and testing of applications to ensure the quality and stability in every system, specifically in Data Engineering. You’ll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the end-to-end Data engineering aspects are performing optimally and meet our high standards. You are not afraid to ask the question why and thrive in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll do: 

• Design, build, and deploy test automation solutions for interrelated systems to ensure the quality and stability of software applications
• Troubleshoot and triage script and system issues with project teams to identify the root causes and resolve issues
• Document, track, and escalate issues with application changes or test scripts
• Collaborate with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project, product, and testing objectives
• Focus on improving automation percentage for projects developed in all technologies
• Write and execute functional test cases as needed
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of test automation experience
• Demonstrated experience in Java or scripting languages like Ruby or Python, using Selenium as a framework in independently identifying technical issues in code
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts
• Demonstrated experience developing functional, load, or batch test automation solutions
• Proficiency with SQL queries

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Develop and execute automated test solutions that validate data movement across source systems, ETL pipelines, APIs, data warehouses, data marts, ML applications, Data Streaming and Analytics applications, Reporting platforms, and BI tools.
• Verify data lineage, transformations, aggregations, business rules, and reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Data: Teradata, Oracle, SQL, Informatica, ADM, MDM, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects
• Automation & Programming: Python, SQL, PyTest, Selenium, Karate, Python, Postman, REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI
