Full Job Description

The U.S. GWM Growth Markets - Solutions Group leads product innovation, business management, and platform placement opportunities across Growth Market vehicles: ETFs, Tokenization, SMAs, and Model Portfolios for the US Private Wealth marketplace. The Associate/Senior Associate will serve as a key contributor to PIMCO’s Growth Markets business through strong fixed income markets knowledge, analytical and technical expertise across investment vehicles, and development of customized solutions tailored for US Private Wealth investors.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
The breadth and diversity of responsibilities in this role requires motivated team members who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful professionals should be able to complete complex tasks in a timely manner, while managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Examples of such tasks and assignments include the following:

  • Providing critical support to PIMCO and their clients through various tasks, including (but not limited to) producing portfolio construction analyses, performance attribution commentaries, portfolio/strategy reviews, and building customized investment solutions for clients
  • Partnering with teams across multiple business areas of the firm, in order to: Develop PIMCO’s platform of Growth Markets vehicles, directly engage with clients across new business development and client servicing needs, and generally bridge the gap between Account Management and Portfolio Management
  • Gain exposure to investment implementation and product development initiatives, with direct engagement with Portfolio ManagementTeams
  • Act as a business owner across Growth Markets vehicles, establishing distribution strategy, evaluating strategic partnerships, optimizing resources/budget to align with growth objectives, and defining fee strategy across business lines
  • Have a real passion for, and remain well-informed on, the financial markets, the global economic environment, and the overall asset/wealth management industry

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor27s degree from an accredited 4-year institution, with concentrations in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or other related fields
  • 2-4 years27 experience with experience in the asset or wealth management industry and advanced understanding of fixed income
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, ethical, and capable of building strong client relationships
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Take and pass required FINRA licensing exams (SIE, Series 7, Series 63) within first 3 months of employment, if not already obtained
  • Strong Excel skills, coding experience (optional), and proficiency with AI based tools

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 105,000.00 - $ 115,000.00
