What You'll Do

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Associate Director of Omnichannel Analytics to deliver measurement, advanced analyses, optimization, and actionable insights for our promotional and digital initiatives.

The Associate Director will conduct omnichannel analyses across HCP and patient audiences, spanning marketing activities, media, and field-based promotions. This role will partner closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Commercial Analytics, IT, and external vendors to translate complex customer data into clear findings and recommendations that improve channel performance, customer activation, and ongoing optimization.

In the rare disease space-where audiences are small, journeys are complex, and impact is profound-this role is critical to ensuring that every interaction is meaningful, compliant, and effective and efficient.

Responsibilities

Analytics Delivery and Partnership
  • Conduct recurring and ad hoc omnichannel analyses aligned with business objectives, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop measurement approaches and analytical specifications across products, including KPI definitions, data requirements, data-quality checks, and clear communication of findings to Marketing and Commercial Analytics stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer behavior, engagement, and exposure to identify and characterize key customer segments. Apply quantitative methods to assess targeting, channel mix, and message performance across customer journeys.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques, including attribution modeling, multi-channel mix modeling, and predictive analytics, to optimize marketing investments. Assess current and future audience models for use across channels.
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial Analytics, and external vendors to explore next-best-action and AI-driven personalization opportunities.

Digital Performance Measurement & Optimization
  • Conduct end-to-end measurement of digital marketing performance across channels, including websites, paid media (digital and non-digital), email/CRM, social, and programmatic campaigns.
  • Analyze HCP and patient exposure and engagement journeys to identify opportunities for optimization and development of future initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear, real-time visibility into performance.

Data Integration & Technology Enablement
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration of digital data sources (web analytics, CRM, media platforms, consented patient data).
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of digital data across platforms.
  • Use and help enhance digital analytics tools and technologies to support reliable measurement and analysis.
  • Assess marketing data sources across products for coverage, quality, usability, and analytical value; identify gaps and recommend practical improvements.

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 3x per week in our San Francisco and Palo Alto offices.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering); advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, with a strong focus on digital or omnichannel analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Solid understanding of advanced statistical measurement and analytics techniques, including familiarity with data mining and exploratory analytics tools such as SQL, R or Python
  • Expertise in omnichannel analytics, marketing performance measurement, and customer journey analytics, including measuring, mining, and generating insights from digital customer engagement data within all digital channels.
  • Experience in rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or highly targeted patient populations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva) and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience with daily use of a/b testing platforms (e.g. Optimizely).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and translate analytics into business impact.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses.
  • Experience managing analytical workstreams and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
