Associate Director - Information Systems - Clinical Data Hub

What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role, you will serve as the Associate Director and product leader for the Clinical Data Hub (CDH) product team within the Clinical Design and Analysis (CDA) - Digital, Technology & Innovation (DTI) organization. You will set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CDH as a trusted, scalable clinical data foundation that enables discovery, integration, governance, and reuse of clinical development data. This role is critical to accelerating study onboarding, improving data availability and quality, enabling analytics and AI-ready data, and increasing the speed and probability of successful product development and commercialization.

What you'll be doing:
  • Establish and maintain senior partnerships across Clinical Development, Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Safety, Regulatory, Precision Medicine, and DTI to define and execute the CDH strategic roadmap.
  • Own and communicate the CDH product vision, multi-year roadmap, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes in alignment with clinical development and enterprise data strategy.
  • Champion scalable data products, common data standards, metadata, governance, security, discoverability, and interoperability capabilities that simplify data access and reuse across studies and functions.
  • Lead product portfolio planning, manage and prioritize the product backlog and budget, and make transparent trade-off decisions across platform reliability, regulatory compliance, technical debt, and delivery of new capabilities.
  • Provide strategic and people leadership for a cross-functional product team; develop product, technical, and delivery capabilities while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute workforce, capability, and resource strategies, including talent development, succession planning, vendor/partner management, and effective use of internal and external resources to support the CDH strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with data, analytics, platform, infrastructure, architecture, security, validation, DevOps/RunOps, and other product teams to deliver end-to-end value and dependable operations.
  • Establish effective product governance and performance management practices, using business outcomes, adoption, operational health, cost, quality, and stakeholder feedback to guide investment and strategic decisions.
  • Represent CDH in senior leadership forums, communicate strategy, progress, risks, dependencies, and investment needs, and build alignment on decisions that impact the broader clinical data ecosystem.
  • Anticipate emerging business and technology needs and translate trends in clinical data, analytics, AI, and digital capabilities into opportunities to evolve the CDH product strategy and long-term roadmap.
