The AGM: Heart, Hustle, and Operational Excellence

As the Assistant General Manager, you are the energetic core of the studio. You bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution, ensuring that our team thrives, our community grows, and our members experience the absolute best of our brand every single day.

1. Client relations
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with your General Manager to optimize the sales funnel (Leads ? Intros ? Memberships). Identify growth opportunities and execute localized initiatives to crush monthly revenue targets.
  • Flawless Execution: Take ownership of daily studio readiness. Ensure inventory is fully stocked and every reformer is maintained to the highest safety and aesthetic standards.
  • Consistent Leadership: Provide a steady, reliable presence four days a week once a week across all dayparts (mornings, mid-days, evenings, and weekends).

2. RTR Vibe
  • The RTR Hospitality Way: Serve as the beating heart of client relations. Flawlessly manage daily communications (Axle, texts, info box), ensuring every lead and member receives a prompt, professional, and warmly solution-oriented response.
  • Loyalty & Retention: Proactively track churn data with the GM and execute thoughtful member-save strategies to re-engage at-risk clients and build lifelong loyalty.
  • Vibrant Ambassadorship: Foster a fiercely inclusive, high-energy environment where the RTR mission thrives. Ensure staff and clients feel inspired, valued, and connected the moment they walk through the doors.

3. Grassroots & Events
  • Grassroots Momentum: Be the face of RTR in your neighborhood. Spearhead high-impact lead-generating events, host quarterly member-appreciation events, and boldly forge local partnerships (driving at least four strategic touchpoints per week).
  • Digital Storytelling: Capture the magnetic energy of your studio events, supplying the social media team with dynamic content that drives leads and amplifies local brand awareness.
  • Market Expansion: Fuel excitement for new pod locations by driving presale blitzes, staffing pop-ups, and establishing our signature culture in new markets from day one.

4. Teaching the RTR Way
  • Inspiring Instruction: Lead from the front by teaching high-energy, brand-consistent reformer classes, open houses, and workshops that keep clients coming back for more. 8-12 classes per week.
  • Team Elevation: Partner with the GM to mentor and elevate the coaching team. Provide regular evaluations and actionable feedback to guarantee the RTR Hospitality Way is delivered flawlessly in every single class.

5. New Client Journey
  • New Client Journey: Take ownership of the new member lifecycle-from initial lead to first visit, and intro offer to full membership. Guarantee that every step of the funnel is anchored by authentic, human touchpoints that build lasting loyalty and shape the future of the RTR community.
  • Strategic Intro Workshops: Capitalize on seasonal lead surges by organizing and leading dynamic Intro Workshops. Serve as the essential bridge between a raw lead and a Level 1 class, equipping brand-new clients with the confidence, foundational skills, and connection they need to seamlessly transition into our regular schedule.
  • Seasonal Sales Execution: Champion the on-the-ground rollout of seasonal sales strategies as determined by the Sales and Marketing team. Drive these strategic initiatives on the studio floor, ensuring flawless execution to maximize conversions, capitalize on campaign momentum, and hit targeted membership goals.
Accountability
  • Reports to the General Manager, who holds the AGM accountable to weekly scorecard metrics - including partnership touchpoints, event execution, and spreadsheet upkeep.

  • Ability to work on-site at managed locations within the DMV (District, Maryland, Virginia) area.
  • Schedule flexibility to meet the needs of the community, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends for class instruction, events, and studio coverage.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Total On target Earnings Package $72,400 - $89,600
    • Base salary: $48,000-$52,000,
    • Compensation for teaching classes (8-12 classes per week) $16,600 - $25,000
    • Monthly revenue share bonus $400-$800 per month
    • Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) $250 contributed towards premium
  • 401K with 4% matching after 1 year.
  • 11 PTO days per year and 8 floating holidays.
