About the Role

Pursuit is hiring an AI Learning Experience Lead to keep sharpening the learning experience across our AI-native programs - refining the curriculum, experience, and community that our facilitators deliver, as new technologies, market feedback, and learning outcomes point the way.

This role sits at the intersection of pedagogy, product, and problem-solving. Reporting to the VP of Training and Programs, you'll evolve what and how we teach, adapt the learning experience across different audiences and formats, and help build the AI training product that will power personalization and scale. You'll work closely with the Product team, our delivery staff, and external partners to keep Pursuit's learning experience tailored to the communities we serve, aligned to job outcomes, and responsive to a fast-moving AI and employment landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Iterate on Pursuit's learning thesis: Continuously test and sharpen our beliefs about how and what we teach, what AI mastery looks like, and what Builders should walk away with - refining as new technology, market feedback, and outcomes data point the way.
• Operationalize and improve the learning experience: Own the high-level goals, progression models, and key learning activities that define each stage of our programs, evolving them as the programs scale.
• Define and measure learner outcomes: Track success metrics for Builders - including skill progression, job-readiness, and longer-term outcomes - and use data and feedback loops to refine curriculum and delivery at scale. This includes mapping curriculum to the specific skills Builders need and measuring their progression across those skills.
• Help build our AI training agent and other products that support the Builder learning experience: Define the instructional inputs - learning goals, templates, success criteria, pacing models - to power our AI learning agent and other learning products.
• Incorporate market insights: Actively gather input from Development, Jobs, and Program teams to inform what we teach and how we teach it.
• Prototype, test, and refine: Quickly build and iterate on content models, facilitator flows, and delivery systems based on user feedback and outcomes.
• Adapt the learning experience for new audiences: Modify and extend our curriculum across audiences and formats for our pilots and partnerships.

About You

• 5-10 years in product management, learning & development systems, or workforce enablement.
• Experience designing transformational in-person experiences that use structure and community to drive outcomes.
• Familiarity with AI tools for learning and experience building workflows and prototypes using AI
• Product mindset: iterative, pragmatic, and data-informed, with real accountability for impact.
• Strong collaborator who communicates clearly and works well across functions in a fast-moving, startup-like environment.
• Deep empathy for adult learners, with a real read on what drives persistence and growth in high-barrier environments.
• Strong critical thinker who can design structured, scalable solutions in a startup-like setting, even without prior subject-matter expertise.

Where You'll Work

This role follows our standard hybrid pattern: Tuesday-Thursday on-site in Long Island City, with Monday and Friday work-from-anywhere.
Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000.

The compensation range above reflects the expectations laid out in this job description; however, we're often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than posted. If that's the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
