Full Job Description
Advertiser Reactivation Specialist - Growth Marketing

We have a long list of brands that should be advertising with us and aren't. Your job is to get ahold of them - no matter what - and get them live.

The problem

AppLovin's self-serve ads platform is growing fast, and the pipeline is bigger than the team working it. Most of these brands already know us: they signed up and got stuck somewhere in the process, or they ran campaigns and stopped. Some are fresh outreach. Either way, nobody has picked up the phone and gotten them over the line. That's the job.

What you'll do
  • Work a ranked daily queue of high-value brands. Reach the decision-maker by phone, email, LinkedIn - whatever it takes. Three ignored emails is the start, not the end.
  • Find out what's in the way: they never finished setup, something broke, or they just haven't heard a good reason to start. Then handle it.
  • Walk them from first conversation to first live campaign. You own the account until it's spending.
  • Log every touch in HubSpot so we know what works. Your pipeline is measured, not vibes.
  • Own one number: advertisers you get live.

What we're looking for
  • Grit. You've got that dog in you - you get people on the phone that other reps gave up on. This matters more than anything on your resume.
  • You have an understanding of the role that performance marketing makes of businesses.
  • You genuinely like talking to founders and marketers, and they like talking to you.
  • Drive. The queue is long, the wins compound, and nobody will push you but the scoreboard.
  • You take the tim to research accounts and prep outreach.
  • Sales or e-commerce background helps, but the product is simple to learn. We care more about how you sell than what you've sold.

About AppLovin

Applovin Corporation, doing business as AppLovin, is a mobile technology company headquartered in Palo Alto, California. Founded in 2012, it operated in stealth mode until 2014. AppLovin enables developers of all sizes to market, monetize, analyze and publish their apps through its mobile advertising, marketing, and analytics platforms MAX, AppDiscovery, and SparkLabs. AppLovin operates Lion Studios, which works with game developers to promote and publish their mobile games. AppLovin also has large investments in various mobile game publishers. In 2020, 49% of AppLovin's revenue came from businesses using its software and 51% from consumers making in-app purchases. AppLovin was founded in 2012 by Adam Foroughi, John Krystynak, and Andrew Karam. Foroughi stated that the AppLovin name came from Bloglovin', a content organizing company, contrary to reports of an homage to the Christopher Mintz-Plasse character from the 2007 film, Superbad. The company operated in stealth mode until 2014, raising $4 million in financing from angel investors, Streamlined Ventures and the Webb Investment Network. Before emerging from stealth mode, AppLovin acquired customers including Opentable and Spotify. In October 2014, AppLovin purchased the German mobile ad-network, Moboqo. On September 26, 2016, it was reported that AppLovin had agreed to be acquired by the Chinese private equity firm, Orient Hontai Capital, for $1.42 billion; the acquisition deal was subsequently abandoned for debt investment after opposition to the plans from CFIUS. The company was ranked #10 on the 2016 Deloitte Fast 500 North America list, and again in 2018. Foroughi was recognized on the 2017 San Francisco Business Times "40 Under 40" list.
