  • Self-source high-value opportunities through rigorous outbound account mapping, targeted campaigns, and direct engagement with key decision-makers across institutional buying committees.
  • Orchestrate the full sales cycle from initial outreach, discovery, and product demonstrations through to commercial negotiation and closing net-new accounts.
  • Multi-thread target accounts by engaging portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, commodities traders, and risk officers to tailor product solutions to their workflows.
  • Represent Kpler in-market at major industry events and conferences, establishing a strong personal network across the North American banking and hedge fund community.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales Engineering, Market Analysts, and Customer Success to refine win themes, align messaging, and ensure seamless client onboarding.
  • Maintain CRM forecasting discipline, tracking pipeline stages, close dates, and next steps to consistently hit or exceed quarterly net-new bookings targets.

Experience & Background

What you'll need (Must-haves)
  • 6-8+ years of full-cycle, new-business sales experience within SaaS, financial market data, research analytics, or alternative data platforms.
  • A proven track record as an outbound hunter, consistently self-sourcing a majority of your pipeline to achieve net-new revenue targets.
  • Direct experience selling into investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, or trading desks.
  • Strong consultative selling ability with demonstrated success multi-threading across complex organizations (e.g., trading, research, risk, and data science teams).
Nice-to-haves
  • Pre-existing relationships with trading desks, research teams, or quantitative data science teams across North American financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with commodity markets, trade-flow analytics, AIS/maritime tracking, or freight and storage data.
