Full Job Description
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is required. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with classical or malignant hematologic conditions and/or solid tumors. Research is not a requirement of the Academic Clinician track; however selected candidates may engage in clinical investigation. Experience and/or advanced training in the conduct of clinical trials is not required.
