Overview

We are currently seeking a High Net Worth Wealth Advisor.  This group is a business designed for clients with diverse and complex financial priorities; those with a need for robust planning, asset management, estate or trust services, and private banking who are focused on preserving and building wealth.

 

The Wealth Advisor is responsible for relationship development and coordinating and providing trusted advice, guidance, and expertise to existing and prospective High Net Worth clients. Wealth Advisors work as part of a Team of specialist within the Wealth Group and are responsible for engaging other specialists, including Private Bankers, Financial Planners, Trust Officers, Fixed Income Team, RPS Administrators, and Philanthropy Officers, as appropriate.

 

Key Accountabilities

Within the team-based coverage model, the Relationship Manager’s key accountabilities include:

Manage a portfolio of client relationships:

  • Including, but not limited to regular client meetings to review and update client goals, financial information, and investments.
  • Assess client’s risk tolerance and return goals and construct an investment portfolio designed to meet these goals.

Provide Advice to clients through Financial Planning:

  • Be able to complete a basic plan and work in conjunction with our dedicated financial planning team to deliver and implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Proficiency with introductions to in-house insurance experts and other financial resources. 

Prospect and develop new wealth business to and from internal referrals:

  • Foster productive relationships with business partners in Consumer and Commercial.
  • Works closely with Private Bankers to develop and expand wallet share with existing wealth relationships.
  • Develop external center of influence opportunities outside of bank. 

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of economic and financial conditions appropriate to advise clients throughout the business cycle:

  • Consistently researching and developing subject matter expertise to consult clients appropriately.
  • Maintain knowledge of current developments and trends in all relevant technical/professional knowledge area.
  • Understands the industry and the factors that affect company performance, uses industry knowledge in planning and decision-making.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field
  • 3 years of retail or institutional wealth/investment experience required.
  • Must possess strong relationship building skills including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of investment markets, products and services and the ability to implement investment strategies to meet client needs and goals.
  • Must possess excellent sales and closing skills.
  • CFP, MBA, or Professional designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to build and develop a robust sales pipeline.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $77,900 - $199,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.

 

This position may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.  Factors may include but are not limited to previous experience, depth and breadth of previous or current institution size.
