About the role:

CLA is looking to hire a Senior Wealth Advisor to work in our Oak Brook, IL office.

The SWA serves as a relationship manager providing Total Wealth Advisory-a comprehensive, planning-led experience anchored in a personal financial plan and spanning a client's financial and tax needs.

Senior Wealth Advisors bring advanced knowledge across tax, investments, financial planning, insurance, and estate and retirement planning. You'll manage a book of client relationships, lead client strategy, and delegate work appropriately to deliver a high-touch experience with strong follow-through.

Essential Job Functions
  • Financial Planning: Gather data from clients in the planning process. Oversee and delegate financial planning work. Deliver financial plans to clients and make recommendations.
  • Client Support: Manage existing & new referral relationships.
  • Technical Competencies: Maintain a working knowledge/competency of appropriate systems applications utilized by firm. Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.


Requirements:

Experience:
  • Minimum of EIGHT (8) years of progressively responsible financial services experience.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.


Certifications/Licenses:
  • FINRA Series 65 or 66 Required.
  • Existing Transferrable Book of Business Preferred.
  • CFP® certification or equivalent required. Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of certification.


This role is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company performance and other factors.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is:

$113,000 - $225,000.
