As a Workday Financials Consultant, you will work directly with client finance teams to translate business requirements into Workday configuration, lead functional workstreams, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do- Lead or support the configuration of Workday Financials modules (General Ledger / Financial Accounting, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Business Assets, Projects).
- Run requirements-gathering and design workshops with client finance and accounting stakeholders.
- Build the Foundation Data Model (FDM), business processes, security roles and reports.
- Support data conversion, integration testing, end-user testing and cutover activities.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and propose solutions aligned with Workday best practices.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help develop junior consultants.
Requirements- Active Workday Financials certification (Financial Accounting or Workday Financials Core); additional certifications in Procurement, Expenses, Projects or Reporting are an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Workday Financials experience in implementation, support or optimization projects.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required to serve our Que9bec and North American clients.
- Strong communication, workshop facilitation and client-facing skills.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client sites (up to 25%).
