Role Overview:Seeking an experienced webMethods Architect to lead the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise integration solutions. This role involves driving architecture strategy, technical leadership, and program delivery, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable integrations across enterprise systems and partner ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in the Software AG webMethods platform combined with strong project and program management capabilities to manage complex integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Software AG webMethods platform (Integration Server, Trading Networks, MWS, API Gateway, Broker/UM).
- Define integration architecture standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks.
- Lead architecture discussions for B2B, EDI, API, and application integrations.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Provide technical governance and architecture reviews for integration initiatives.
- Mentor development teams on design patterns, performance tuning, and platform best practices.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of integration programs and projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, and external partners for successful delivery.
- Drive agile or hybrid delivery models for integration programs.
- Provide status updates, risk mitigation plans, and delivery reporting to leadership.
- Ensure quality, testing strategy, and deployment governance across environments.
- Define integration strategies across APIs, microservices, B2B/EDI, and event-driven architecture.
- Evaluate modernization opportunities including cloud integration and hybrid integration architectures.
- Work with enterprise teams to integrate ERP, Supply Chain, and external partner ecosystems.
- Support solution proposals, estimations, and technical roadmap planning.
Required Skills:- Strong expertise in webMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks (B2B/EDI), Universal Messaging / Broker, My webMethods Server, and API Gateway / API Management.
- Experience designing B2B/EDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet).
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience integrating ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise applications.
- Proven experience leading large integration projects or programs.
- Strong experience in project planning, estimation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications:- 12+ years of integration experience.
- 7+ years on Software AG webMethods platform.
