Water Wastewater Hydraulic Lead Project Engineer

What You'll Work On
  • Develop, calibrate, and apply steady-state, extended period, and transient hydraulic models, as well as water quality models
  • Use advanced modeling to evaluate system performance, optimize infrastructure, and support long-term planning
  • Lead and contribute to master planning efforts and system evaluations
  • Apply data-driven approaches and explore emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI, advanced analytics) to improve modeling workflows and decision-making
  • Help define and implement next-generation modeling practices that go beyond current industry standards
Your Role & Impact
  • Serve as a technical leader in hydraulic modeling and system analysis
  • Collaborate across disciplines to develop innovative, practical solutions for clients
  • Contribute to thought leadership, including conference presentations, technical papers, and internal knowledge development
  • Support business development efforts through technical strategy, scope development, and client engagement
  • Mentor junior staff and help build a high-performing, forward-thinking modeling team

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
  • Master's degree preferred
