Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT) is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead the continued expansion of our Water Resources Engineering practice in Florida. You'll lead a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects, develop and strengthen client relationships, mentor engineering staff, and help shape the future of our growing water resources practice. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions that improve communities and support Florida's evolving water resources engineering needs.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead complex water resources engineering projects from planning through delivery.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and client relationships.
- Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Lead or support hydrologic, hydraulic, drainage, and stormwater engineering efforts.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal technical staff.
- Prepare proposals, technical reports, and project estimates.
- Mentor engineering staff and support practice growth.
- As opportunities arise, serve in ECT's Team Leader role by fostering collaboration, supporting staff development, and coordinating project staffing.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE), registered in Florida.
- 10+ years of water resources engineering experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience with stormwater management, floodplain management, H&H modeling, drainage design, and water resource projects.
- Experience with local, state, and federal environmental permitting for water resources engineering projects.
- Experience with drainage and stormwater engineering for linear utility corridors, from design (culvert sizing, roadway crossings, conveyance evaluation) through construction-phase compliance (NPDES/CGP, SWPPP).
- Strong client stewardship and leadership skills.
