VP, Growth Director, Assembly North America
Our new Growth Director will help spearhead new business acquisition, drive revenue growth and scale the agency's client portfolio. Operating at the intersection of business development and marketing, they will identify market opportunities, craft winning pitches, and lead cross-functional teams to secure high-value accounts.
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the VP, Growth Director is responsible for helping to build a robust pitch pipeline and elevating the agency’s market presence. They do not manage traditional media buying for clients; instead, they focus strictly on marketing and selling the media agency’s own services to prospective clients and consultants. They will drive consistent excellence across all agency touchpoints and transfer that knowledge and rigor across subsequent pitches.
Responsibilities
Overview
- New Business & Lead Generation: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to attract prospective clients through outbound prospecting, industry networking, and strategic partnerships. [
- Pitch Leadership: Spearhead the RFP process, collaborating with media planners, strategists, and data analysts to deliver compelling, data-driven pitch presentations.
- Brand Positioning: Work alongside agency marketing and PR teams to build thought leadership, host industry events, and elevate the agency's reputation in the marketplace.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the agency’s CRM, utilizing data to forecast revenue, track conversion rates, and optimize the overall sales cycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Client Services and Account teams to ensure a smooth transition of new accounts and identify organic upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Required Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years in marketing, business development, or agency management, with a proven track record of winning media, advertising, or creative accounts.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape, including programmatic advertising, digital strategy, SEO/SEM, paid social, and data analytics.
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities, with a proven capability to negotiate and build relationships with all internal stakeholders in order to provide constructive, actionable feedback
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Total new business revenue generated (annual target).
- Pitch win-to-loss ratio.
- Year-over-year revenue growth from new client acquisitions.

Compensation (Text Only)Compensation In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $225,000- $275,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
