JOB DESCRIPTION

Be at the center of markets and balance sheet decisions. This role sits within the North America Markets Treasury team and supports a large structured notes portfolio across multiple asset classes. You will partner closely with trading, sales, and senior treasury stakeholders to shape funding, capacity, and pricing outcomes. The work is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly visible. You will help build and scale a newly formed function with meaningful opportunity to grow.

As aVice PresidentinMarkets Treasury, Structured Notes Issuance, you will own day-to-day funding transfer execution and liquidity risk management for a major structured notes portfolio. You will set issuance and internal transfer pricing in partnership with the Treasury and Chief Investment Office and markets businesses. You will coordinate capacity, approvals, and constraints while translating treasury requirements into commercially actionable guidance for trading and sales teams. You will also drive analytics and tooling enhancements that improve active liability management and decision-making.

Job responsibilities

  • Ownfunding and liquidity risk management for a large, multi-asset structured notes portfolio, including execution of internal funding transfers
  • Setand maintain issuance curve pricing and internal funds transfer pricing aligned to firm strategy
  • Coordinatestructured note issuance capacity, approvals, and pricing components across treasury and markets stakeholders
  • Partnerdaily with trading desks and sales teams across rates, fixed income, equities, commodities, credit, and emerging markets
  • Translatetreasury constraints into clear, commercially actionable guidance for business partners
  • Analyzelarge and complex datasets to identify trends, surface risks, and produce actionable insights for pricing and capacity decisions
  • Evaluateprofitability drivers for the structured notes franchise, including return on equity, liquidity costs, leverage impacts, and systemic surcharge considerations
  • Influencesenior stakeholders through concise, data-supported recommendations and clear communications
  • Deliverenhancements to analytics, pipeline tools, and risk management infrastructure supporting active liability management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in structured products structuring, solutions sales, trading, market risk, or markets-facing treasury roles
  • Strong pricing and risk management knowledge across cash, financing, and derivative products
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and convert analysis into actionable business insights
  • Strong understanding of bank profitability metrics and drivers (including return on equity, liquidity cost, leverage, and systemic surcharge dynamics)
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with senior trading, sales, and treasury stakeholders
  • Experience delivering analytics and data projects in collaboration with technology teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics for varied audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proficiency in Python and structured query languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools (for example, Tableau)
  • Experience with cloud and modern data platforms (for example, Amazon Web Services or Databricks)
  • Familiarity with structured note issuance in currencies outside the Group of Ten
  • Prior treasury experience supporting a line of business or financial resource management decisions
