Stelo Overview:

Stelo by Dexcom is the first FDA-cleared glucose biosensor available without a prescription in the U.S. Created for people with type 2 diabetes not using insulin, those with prediabetes, and health-conscious adults,18 years of age and older, Stelo provides personalized glucose insights 24/7 to reveal how lifestyle factors such as food, stress, sleep, and activity impact your body. With these insights, Stelo helps users make informed decisions and build healthier habits - empowering them to take control of their health.

Role Overview:

The Vice President, Stelo will own end-to-end commercial strategy and execution for Dexcom's new consumer-focused glucose monitoring product. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this enterprise leader will drive sales, marketing, growth and channel strategy, ensuring Stelo achieves aggressive targets in a competitive and evolving market.

  • P&L Ownership: Full accountability for revenue, margin, and market share for Stelo.
  • Creative Growth: Build and operate a growth-hacking engine that drives outsized, efficient demand through rapid experimentation across the full funnel.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, structure, and scale partner-led growth that expands distribution and improves unit economics, including high-impact integrations and co-marketing pathways.
  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans, pricing, and positioning strategies for direct-to-consumer and retail channels.
  • Sales Leadership: Build and scale a high-performing sales organization, including digital commerce and retail partnerships.
  • Marketing Leadership: Oversee brand strategy, omnichannel marketing, and consumer engagement campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, R&D, Operations & Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance to align product roadmap with commercial priorities.
  • Voice of Customer: Leverage consumer insights and competitive intelligence to refine strategy.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain top commercial talent.
  • Innovation & Growth: Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and geographic expansion opportunities.
  • Market Access: Partner with payers and PBMs to secure coverage and reimbursement pathways.


What makes you successful:
  • 15+ years in commercial leadership roles within wearables, medtech, diabetes care, or consumer health.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling consumer health products (preferably subscription or DTC models).
  • Global exposure, with experience growing businesses across Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and retail distribution.
  • Experience managing P&L over $200M and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement landscape for medical devices.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, execution discipline, and leadership presence.


Travel Required: 25-50%

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
