Full Job Description
We are actively seeking a Vice President, Global Health Communications to join our agency. The position will manage a growing portfolio of creative activations and substantive communications in global health and HIV internationally and in the U.S. especially in partnership with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. For this role, we're looking for a strategic leader who translates vision into action. The Vice President will balance a role that is equal parts client excellence, business impact, and team cohesion. You'll serve as a trusted day-to-day lead on complex, integrated accounts, overseeing dynamic teams and helping to drive growth across the agency. You're part doer, part dreamer-someone who knows how to execute flawlessly for clients while thinking bigger at every turn to drive more meaningful, impactful work. Primary Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Client: • Serve as the day-to-day lead for key workstreams for leading life sciences company, setting direction and ensuring delivery of high-impact, insight-driven work • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing clear, confident counsel in both day-to-day and high-stakes situations • Anticipate client needs and proactively evolve programs to drive measurable business and reputation outcomes • Ensure all work is strategically grounded, creatively differentiated, and aligned to client objectives • Identify opportunities to expand scope within existing clients and partner across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions Business: • Own the operational, financial, and team health of assigned accounts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and teams that are thoughtfully staffed, supported, and positioned to grow • Contribute meaningfully to organic growth by identifying and converting opportunities within current business • Support new business efforts, including contributing to pitch development People: • Demonstrate a consistent and steadfast commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and play a deliberate and actionable leadership role in supporting our DE&I programming • Lead, develop and coach the team, inspiring the next generation of leaders and ensuring career development and satisfaction • Live our agency values every day, and most importantly, lead with kindness and humanity above all else • Be an engaging, collaborative and passionate leader of the M Booth Health crew Experience • Approximately 8-10 years of PR/communications agency experience • Strong working knowledge of the global health, HIV, and/or drug access landscape for underserved populations in the U.S. and internationally, including controversies and issues • Familiarity and experience with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology regulatory landscape and internal approval processes • Experience managing dynamic creative communications campaigns, with deep understanding of the integrated communications landscape and how digital, creative, strategy and analytics fit seamlessly into account operations • A passion for creativity and ideas that deliver meaningful impact • Superb management skills, and experience motivating and inspiring colleagues while creating opportunities for growth and development • Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels • Positive, unifying attitude and a true enthusiasm and dedication to delivering exceptional work in a fun, collaborative and non-hierarchical environment Our Qualifications Yes, you read that correctly.
