JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate combines strong executive storytelling, strategic thinking, presentation development and stakeholder management skills to deliver clear, compelling communications and meaningful employee experiences. Working across Operations, Product, Technology, Design, Data & Analytics, Human Resources and Communications, this individual will manage communications from strategy through execution, partnering closely with senior leaders to strengthen employee engagement, leadership visibility and organizational alignment. 

As an Executive Communications Vice President within Consumer and Community Banking you will support Executive Communications for Portfolio Strategy & Automation & Consumer and Community Banking Operations while serving as a strategic communications partner to the Head of Portfolio Strategy & Automation and support executive communications and leadership engagement for the Chief Operating Officer of Consumer and Community Banking Operations. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer for Consumer and Community Banking Operations and Auto, you will develop executive communications, manage high-profile leadership engagements and site visits, and support communication strategies that help employees understand business priorities, organizational changes and strategic initiatives. 

 

 

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary communications partner to the Head of Portfolio Strategy & Automation while supporting executive communications and leadership engagement for the Chief Operating Officer of Consumer and Community Banking Operations. 
  • Develop executive messaging, talking points, presentations, briefing materials and leadership communications. 
  • Lead communications for site visits, town halls, leadership meetings, conferences and employee engagement events. 
  • Create communication strategies and content that help employees understand business priorities, organizational changes and strategic initiatives. 
  • Build executive presentations and manage content development from strategy through execution. 
  • Support employee engagement, listening and recognition programs that strengthen culture and the employee experience.  
  • Develop communications plans, leader toolkits and employee-facing messaging for key business and change initiatives.  
  • Draft and manage content across email, Teams, intranet, video and executive visibility channels.  
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of all internal tactics, such as open rates, event survey results and article clicks, and incorporate best practices and learnings into go-forward plans.

  • Create and manage a senior leader LinkedIn content strategy in partnership with Chase’s social media team. 
  • Partner across Operations, Product, Technology, Design, Data & Analytics, Human Resources and Communications to lead alignment and execution. 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7+ years of communications experience in a large-matrixed organization; Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or public relations

  • Strong executive presence and experience working with and counseling senior leaders.

  • Excellent writer with an audience-first mindset. 

  • All-around team player who willingly collaborates and contributes to both strategic and tactical deliverables.

  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams required

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle large-scale, complex projects with discipline and precision.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • A self-starter with ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with speed, flexibility, and adaptability.

  • Outstanding judgment, proactive problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box.

  • Some domestic travel is required.

  • Financial services experience

  • Additional software skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AI large language models)
