About the RoleThe Vice President, Technology & Implementation - Core Platform is a senior technology leader responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and operational readiness of CardioOne's core technology ecosystem across new and existing cardiology practices. This role owns the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for clinical, imaging, patient engagement, ambulatory surgery center, revenue cycle, analytics, and infrastructure solutions. The Vice President will establish repeatable and scalable implementation methods, lead complex multi-system programs, set clear timeline expectations, and maintain disciplined communication with executive, clinical, operational, vendor, and practice stakeholders.
What you'll do- Implementation leadership: Own strategy, planning, execution, and stabilization for technology implementations across multiple practices, markets, and workstreams.
- Clinical and business platforms: Lead deployments of EMR/EHR, PACS, advanced imaging, patient engagement, ASC, revenue cycle management, and related healthcare applications.
- Program governance: Define scope, milestones, dependencies, decision rights, risks, budgets, resource plans, and go-live criteria; provide transparent reporting and escalation.
- Scalable delivery model: Build standardized playbooks, templates, readiness assessments, stage gates, quality controls, and post-implementation review processes that improve speed, consistency, and predictability.
- Stakeholder communication: Set realistic expectations and communicate status, risks, decisions, and tradeoffs clearly to executives, practice leaders, clinicians, operations teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Interfaces and interoperability: Manage multiple concurrent interface projects involving clinical, imaging, revenue cycle, and data platforms; coordinate requirements, testing, validation, cutover, and issue resolution.
- Data migration: Direct data discovery, mapping, cleansing, conversion, reconciliation, validation, retention, and cutover activities while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and operational continuity.
- Infrastructure readiness: Oversee hardware procurement, device standards, IT setup, network design and readiness, connectivity, security coordination, telecommunications, and site infrastructure required for successful launch.
- Support & Optimization Organization: In parallel with new implementations, establish a support and optimization function to sustain existing practices, remediate post-go-live issues, manage vendor escalations, and drive continuous improvement across the installed base.
- Vendor management: Hold technology vendors and implementation partners accountable for contractual deliverables, timelines, quality, documentation, and issue remediation.
- Testing and adoption: Establish integrated testing, user acceptance testing, training, change management, go-live support, and stabilization plans that support clinical and operational adoption.
- Team leadership: Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing implementation organization; clarify roles, capacity, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Continuous improvement: Use implementation metrics, lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, and root-cause analysis to strengthen future deployments.
