Full Job Description
Broadridge is seeking a Vice President, Forward Deployed Engineering — AI to lead the creation of high-value agentic AI capabilities across our business and client ecosystem. This role is for a senior builder with a background in engineering or technical product management who can combine strategic judgment, technical depth, and hands-on delivery leadership.
You will work directly with senior stakeholders to identify the opportunities that matter most, determine what is viable, and lead solutions from idea through production. You will help move Broadridge from experimentation to scaled impact—building reusable AI capabilities that improve how we operate, serve clients, and prepare for what comes next.
You will be an exceptional collaborator with strong conviction: someone who brings people together around ambitious outcomes, welcomes rigorous debate, and never settles for a merely adequate solution when a better one can be built.
What you will lead
• Identify and shape the most consequential AI opportunities across Broadridge, working directly with senior business leaders, clients, product teams, and technology organizations.
• Establish a rigorous but fast-moving approach to use-case assessment: strategic importance, value potential, customer impact, data readiness, feasibility, integration complexity, risk, adoption, and production viability.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions, from discovery and architecture through proof of value, production implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Personally engage in critical solution and architecture decisions, while building and leading multidisciplinary teams capable of rapid, high-quality execution.
• Create solutions that combine models, agents, tools, enterprise data, workflow automation, human review, and user experience in ways that solve material business problems.
• Set a high bar for evaluations, reliability, security, observability, controls, and operational ownership so that successful work can scale with confidence.
• Determine when a solution should become a reusable platform capability, product feature, shared service, client offering, or targeted workflow deployment.
• Build repeatable delivery patterns that materially shorten the path from use-case idea to measurable value and, where warranted, production deployment.
• Influence AI platform, model, framework, and vendor strategy using evidence from real deployments, adoption, and client or business outcomes.
• Attract, develop, and inspire a community of high-caliber builders across engineering, technical product management, design, data, and operations.
What you bring
• Senior leadership experience in AI engineering, software engineering, technical product management, data platforms, or technology delivery.
• A demonstrated record of building and scaling complex, customer-facing, enterprise, or platform capabilities from early concept through sustained adoption.
• Deep technical fluency in modern software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, enterprise integration, data systems, security, reliability, and operational delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of generative AI and agentic AI design, including model selection, retrieval, tool use, orchestration, evaluations, guardrails, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Exceptional product judgment: the ability to distinguish a compelling AI demonstration from a solution that is valuable, viable, reliable, adoptable, supportable, and ready to scale.
• Experience making investment and prioritization decisions in environments with competing customer, business, technical, and control requirements.
• The ability to lead through influence and build trust with executives, clients, business leaders, engineers, product managers, risk partners, and front-line users.
• An exceptional collaborative leadership style: brings people into the work early, listens deeply, values healthy debate, and creates alignment across functions without sacrificing pace or accountability.
• Strong conviction and a clear point of view; able to make difficult decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and be persuaded by stronger evidence.
• A refusal to settle for mediocrity, incrementalism, or solutions that are merely adequate; consistently raises the bar on ambition, technical rigor, user experience, and measurable business impact.
• The ability to create momentum through clarity and credibility—not by forcing consensus—so that teams understand the path forward and are motivated to execute at a high standard.
• A record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing technical and product talent.
• The confidence to stop low-value work early, simplify complexity, and drive decisions when ambiguity is high.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $210k-$260k. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
