The VDC Manager is responsible for developing detailed trade models for field construction, leading coordination efforts, ensuring quality control of digital assets, supporting client engagement, and contributing to business development initiatives.

What to Expect:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop VDC team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Assign project responsibilities and manage team workload across multiple projects.
  • Develop detailed trade-specific models for use in field construction and field coordination.
  • Ensure models are constructible, installation-ready, and aligned with project specifications.
  • Communicate directly with clients to identify, evaluate, and resolve construction issues.
  • Participate in coordination and progress meetings with owners, design teams, and trade partners.
  • Provide visual tools and digital analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Practice rigorous quality control to ensure digital assets meet client needs and expectations.
  • Review and approve digital deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
  • Identify discrepancies between project documents and field conditions and coordinate resolution.
  • Lead interdisciplinary coordination sessions to improve installation efficiency.
  • Support construction phasing, schedule visualization, and logistics planning.
  • Identify opportunities to expand digital services within existing and prospective accounts.


What We're Looking For:
  • Degree(s) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Professional Engineering Licensure preferred
  • 8+ years of recent related experience
  • Experience developing detailed trade models used for field installation.
  • Proven experience interacting directly with clients and supporting project pursuits.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to business growth initiatives.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural modeling utilizing Autodesk Revit.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam.
