This role offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership. You will be trusted to independently evaluate sites, engage utilities, and drive infrastructure decisions while partnering with Asset Management, Global Realty, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure and Due Diligence
  • Lead utility and dry utility due diligence for new and existing sites
  • Evaluate electrical, telecom, and fiber infrastructure availability and capacity
  • Assess power routing both overhead and underground and point of connection feasibility
  • Identify risks related to service gaps, capacity constraints, permitting, and construction timelines
  • Provide early-stage input on site feasibility, cost drivers, and infrastructure constraints
Dry Utility Coordination
  • Oversee and coordinate dry utility scope including electrical distribution, telecom and fiber connectivity, and joint trenching
  • Work with utility providers and municipalities to validate service availability and design requirements
  • Support utility applications, will serve letters, and service requests
  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and utility design engineers on routing, design, and constructability
  • Ensure alignment of dry utility infrastructure with site development plans and schedules
  • Electrical Design and Technical Expertise
  • Review and interpret utility plans, electrical designs, and site layouts
  • Provide expertise on transformers, feeders, switchgear, and metering
  • Support primary and secondary distribution design considerations
  • Advise on backup power solutions such as generators and battery systems
  • Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for business stakeholders
  • Stakeholder and Utility Engagement
  • Act as primary interface with utility companies including electric, telecom, and fiber providers
  • Partner with tower companies such as Crown Castle, American Tower, and SBA on infrastructure requirements
  • Coordinate with third party engineering firms and utility designers
  • Manage landlord communications related to easements, right of way, and utility access
  • Align with Asset Management, Real Estate, and Development teams on feasibility and timelines
Site Development and Execution Support
  • Support site selection and planning through infrastructure feasibility assessments
  • Identify opportunities to optimize utility routing and shared infrastructure
  • Track utility timelines and dependencies to support project delivery
  • Ensure dry utility considerations are incorporated into development and construction plans

  • Ability to read and interpret civil plans, utility drawings, and electrical one lines
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Deep understanding of how power and dry utilities are delivered to remote or tower sites
  • Hands-on experience working with utilities, engineering firms, or infrastructure providers
  • Comfortable operating in a high autonomy field influenced role
  • Strong communicator able to bridge technical and real estate stakeholders
  • Practical problem solver who understands design, constructability, and site constraints
Why This Role
  • Autonomy and ownership with responsibility across power and dry utilities
  • Opportunity to work across electrical infrastructure and full dry utility ecosystems
