Roles And ResponsibilitiesThe Tree Tooling Engineer performs a variety of engineering work in the development and execution of Subsea Tree Tooling Projects in accordance with industry standards and client requirements. This may include preparing technical documentation for customers and performing engineering calculations to analyze operating parameters.
Responsibilities:- To create, analyze and develop Product Design to meet customers' / industry's needs and have an awareness of good economic design and safety, both in manufacturing and function
- Design, produce and analyze mathematical models as well as undertaking mechanical design calculations and draw design conclusions based on those.
- Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specifications, design, development, integration, test procedures and results) following company procedures.
- To engage in product development work within the OneSubsea Tree portfolio.
- Discuss the customer's requirements and identify OneSubsea products which meet these.
- Give technical advice on the application and proper use of OneSubsea Tree products
- Ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner in line with company health and safety guidelines.

- Computer skills in SAP/PLM, Microsoft, MathCad, AutoCad / Inventor or similar 3D CAD package.

Minimum Job Qualifications- Experience in Subsea Trees and tooling.
- 5 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent organization skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Thorough understanding of machining, manufacturing, hydraulic drawings
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of SAP, ANSYS, MathCad, AutoCad and Inventor
- Additional experience with ASME, DNV and API design methodologies
- Knowledge of Subsea projects and products (trees, connection systems, manifolds, jumpers, wellheads, and controls)
