Job Description

The Treasury Technical Onboarding Consultant is primarily responsible for partnering with the Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) in closing deals and often participate in the sales process to gain a deeper understanding of the client's processes and issues. They help to bridge the gap between sales and onboarding from a technical perspective and are the subject-matter experts in treasury management and working capital products. They serve as trusted advisors to the bank's payment solutions sales consultants, clients, and product management teams, all of whom are working toward the common goals of solving client problems, maximizing the banks capabilities, and growing client relationships.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will lead on-site client presentations and planning sessions to educate clients on the bank's complex offerings, best practices, and industry trends.
  • You will showcase BOKF's key treasury solutions, highlighting their features, functionality, and value to meet specific client needs.
  • You will develop financial solutions and act as a liaison for complex projects, leveraging both the client's and bank's capabilities.
  • You will support sales for emerging product solutions (such as Real-Time payments, ERP integrations, and others).
  • You will provide "Voice of the Client" feedback to Sales, Sales Enablement, and Product Management.
  • You will gather commercial customer technical requirements for service onboarding.
  • You will manage technical dependencies and critical paths for complex onboardings, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and ensure successful service installation.
  • You will recommend technical solutions for operational issues.
  • You will play a key role in Treasury conversions and upgrades, offering guidance, testing, and change management.
  • You will initiate Ethnography Studies to gather and document the client's Payables, Receivables technological infrastructure and workflow.
  • You will collaborate with the Product Manager and Vendors to review product information and ensure customers fully understand all applicable services.
  • You will collaborate with the Sales Enablement Team on various Treasury systems to identify and implement automation opportunities, including AI, API, and RPA initiatives, ensuring projects are reviewed, approved, and executed.


Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related degree with 7-10 years relevant banking, product consulting and technology experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Bank and Vendor operations as well as the Bank's organizational structure.
  • Strong PC and software application skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management and planning skills.
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving and team building skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of product delivery systems and on-line computer systems.
  • Advanced knowledge in technical onboarding/consulting, resource management practices and change management techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical development and execution, planning, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral presentations and demonstrations.
  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
