Position Summary

The Territory Channel Manager is responsible for the management and development of key distributor partners. Engaging with regional sales offices, representing the Banner brand, promoting new products and solutions, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives. This role is instrumental to accelerating Banner's growth with distributor partners.

What You'll Be Doing

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, takes initiative, builds strong relationships with distributors, and drives impact across teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic distribution plans.
  • Working closely with Strategic, Sales Reps, and Regional Sales Accounts Managers:
    • Acting as the primary contact for assigned distributors
    • Ensuring coverage alignment and engagement
    • Managing distribution support of new projects
    • New product introductions and channel preparation for new launches.
    • Training and support for customer events.
    • Providing insights on distribution inventory position to support current and new customers
    • Executing distribution sampling and product demo investments

  • Executing distribution programs and supporting process
  • Leveraging SFDC processes and tools to properly communicate efforts to the key stakeholders in the organization
  • Monitoring Special Pricing to ensure a cohesive pricing strategy is maintained and no misuse of these agreements.
  • Coordinating the involvement of company resources, including support, service and management, to meet partner performance objectives and expectations
  • Resolving territory conflicts and facilitating support for technical product/service issues
  • Working internally and externally to ensure distribution compliance with agreements and policies
  • Remaining current on product trends, both within the organization and among competitors
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in a similar sales role
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within the territory up to 50% of the time, including various modes of transportation (car, train, plane, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt methods to solve problems
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


Preferred

  • Prior experience working with distributors
  • Familiarity with the industrial automation space
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to make actionable decisions

Base Pay Range: $120,550.00 - $174,563.00
