Full Job Description
The Group Director, OOH is a senior leader responsible for shaping Noble People's approach to out-of-home media and ensuring our OOH work is strategic, creative, well executed, and grounded in our clients' business goals.

This role brings deep OOH marketplace expertise to client teams, guiding work from strategy and planning through negotiation, buying, execution, and post-campaign analysis. The Group Director partners closely with Group Media Directors, Media Directors, communications strategy teams, and other agency leaders to identify how OOH can contribute to broader communications plans and create distinctive opportunities for our clients.

The Group Director is also a people leader, setting expectations for the quality of OOH work, developing team members, improving ways of working, and building strong relationships across the agency and with the OOH vendor community.

Please note: this position is covering a leave of absence through the end of November.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

OOH Strategy
  • Lead OOH strategy across assigned clients, translating business and communications objectives into clear, creative, and effective recommendations.
  • Serve as a senior OOH advisor to clients and internal teams, bringing marketplace expertise to planning, major client meetings, and new business pitches.
  • Partner with media planning and communications strategy teams to integrate OOH into broader media plans and identify opportunities that extend beyond standard placements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, audiences, priorities, budgets, and competitive environments to anticipate needs and identify opportunities.
  • Develop and present OOH strategies, recommendations, POVs, and marketplace updates to senior client stakeholders.

Planning, Buying, Marketplace Leadership
  • Oversee OOH planning and buying from strategy and vendor evaluation through negotiation, contracting, execution, trafficking, reconciliation, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Ensure recommendations and buys meet client objectives while delivering strong value, strategic rationale, creative impact, and executional excellence.
  • Maintain senior relationships with OOH vendors and stay current on formats, inventory, pricing, technology, measurement, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide senior guidance on complex planning, negotiation, production, and execution challenges.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for accuracy, quality control, financial management, and timely delivery of OOH work.

Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop OOH team members, setting clear expectations for performance, accountability, collaboration, and quality.
  • Oversee workload and resources while supporting hiring, training, performance management, and career development as appropriate.
  • Build OOH knowledge across the agency by sharing marketplace developments, best practices, and new opportunities.
  • Partner with the Head of Activation and agency leadership to strengthen Noble People's OOH capabilities, processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Contribute OOH expertise to new business, thought leadership, and agency growth opportunities.
  • Represent Noble People positively within the OOH community and maintain strong relationships across the marketplace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of OOH media planning and buying experience, preferably within a media or advertising agency.
  • Significant experience leading OOH strategy, planning, negotiation, buying, and execution across multiple clients, categories, markets, and budget levels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams at multiple levels.
  • Deep understanding of the OOH marketplace, including major vendors, formats, inventory, pricing dynamics, planning considerations, and emerging opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client business and communications objectives into effective OOH strategies and recommendations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of maintaining open, fair, and productive vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and senior clients.
  • Ability to write concise, well-reasoned media recommendations and present them with confidence.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to evaluate audience, geographic, marketplace, and campaign data.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion creative and unconventional OOH ideas while maintaining executional discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, budgets, and timelines while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Benefits

The salary range per annum is: 190,000 - 205,000 USD.
