Technology Strategy Manager, based in Plano, Texas. This role shapes Ericsson's long-term Network Strategy Vision within MACS from an AI and automation perspective. Working alongside stakeholders across Strategy, R&D, Product Management, Commercial, Sales, and Delivery, you will translate technology potential into meaningful telecom innovations aligned with Ericsson's strategic priorities.
What You Will Do - Lead AI and automation initiatives for end-to-end telecom networks, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic priorities
- Champion simplified deployment and orchestration through telecom-specific management architecture frameworks
- Shape the long-term AI portfolio to meet market-specific needs and align with Ericsson's Business Area ownership
- Guide best practices for leveraging CI/CD frameworks to automate Day 0/1/2 deployments efficiently
- Advise Customer Units on intent-driven programmability, OSS/BSS software design, and autonomous network solutions
- Deliver subject matter expertise on Ericsson's BCSS portfolio, aligning with ORAN working groups, TM Forum, and 3GPP
- Equip the pre-sales team with strategic insights to align with customer and organizational goals
- Translate technology advancements into clear, actionable network strategies for senior executive decision-making
The Skills You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or Computer Science; Master's or MBA preferred
- 8+ years of relevant ICT experience, including strong R&D and product management background
- Solid understanding of Core, OSS/BSS, FCAPS, ORAN SMO, RAN, and cloud orchestration frameworks
- Expertise in AI, orchestration, and automation solutions tailored for telecom environments
- Strong strategic and critical thinking - able to identify patterns, develop solutions, and make clear proposals
- Financial acumen with the ability to turn data insights into actionable business strategies
- Familiarity with telecom economics, cost drivers, and regulatory considerations across North America and LATAM
- Experience presenting complex technology topics to senior executives (CTO/CIO level) clearly and with impact
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills

Your PayThe salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Your TimeYour work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
