Full Job Description
We are looking for a Technology Operations Manager to oversee EP's hardware, software and technology assets and services.

Technology Operations Manager responsibilities include monitoring technology infrastructure and resolving system issues. The candidate will have experience with IT performance management, network administration and system security, server configurations, virtualization technologies, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), data protection, backups and recovery technologies, high-availability redundancy technologies, and cloud technologies.

Ultimately, this position will ensure IT systems and services are secure, consistent and reliable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all technical operation at the system level to maintain the integrity of technology services offered to EP's client bases both internal and external.
  • Provide technical support and direction to field location regarding new or existing technologies, operational standards, and staff development; and provide technical support to the regional office as needed.
  • Lead technical engineering teams in infrastructure builds, modifications, configurations.
  • Participate in technology architectural reviews.
  • Coordinate preparation of the capital and operation budget process and monitor activity throughout the year to ensure capital and operating expense are controlled according to the budgeted plan.
  • Monitor current procedures and tests performed in accordance with company standards and policies.
  • Monitor and review system material management procedures, inventory control, technical training programs and security to ensure compliance with standards operating procedures.
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities over technology operations and engineering staff.

  • Knowledge of queuing technologies - IBM MQ, MSMQ, etc.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies - pipelines, CI/CD
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools
  • Hands-on knowledge of computer Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtualization technologies - VMware, HyperV
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud services - AWS, etc.
  • Leadership and organizational skills with technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience in technology management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the technology field.
