Job Summary
The Technical Lead will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, enterprise-grade full-stack applications. The role involves building modern web interfaces using Angular 19, developing lightweight microservices with Java 23 and Micronaut 4.9.3, deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and managing relational databases using AlloyDB for PostgreSQL. The Technical Lead will drive architectural decisions, ensure application security and performance, and support scalable, reliable cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop modern, responsive, and high-performance frontend interfaces using Angular 19.
• Implement state management, reactive programming patterns, and seamless API integrations.
• Architect, build, and maintain lightweight, high-throughput microservices using Java 23 and Micronaut 4.9.3.
• Ensure code quality, application security, and comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
• Design clean RESTful APIs and implement automated, self-documenting API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) across enterprise integrations and microservices.
• Design, optimize, and manage relational database models using AlloyDB for PostgreSQL.
• Develop efficient SQL queries using JDBI 3 for type-safe database operations.
• Manage version-controlled database schema migrations using Flyway.
• Optimize database indexing, query performance, and throughput for high-scale applications.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on GCP using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes orchestration, load balancing, and autoscaling policies to support 99.99% availability and optimal resource utilization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, container security, and cloud monitoring and logging.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern Angular, preferably Angular 17+ or Angular 19.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, and modern web UI libraries.
• 5+ years of experience in Java backend engineering, including Core Java 23 and microservices development.
• Experience with Micronaut 4.9.3 and OAuth2/OIDC security standards.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or GCP AlloyDB, including data modeling, type-safe SQL using JDBI 3, schema migrations using Flyway, and performance tuning.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, ingress and load balancing, and autoscaling.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and distributed system trade-offs.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, working with JSON, creating automated API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger, and using gRPC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills, architectural ownership, and a focus on building scalable systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with GCP-native services, including Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Knowledge of reactive Java frameworks.
• Familiarity with Ahead-of-Time (AOT) compilation and GraalVM native images.
