Full Job Description
  • The role of Unified Communications Curriculum Developer will be responsible for the creation of learning content using standard content development applications such as MS Office, Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
  • Full training will be given on the Client products and solutions, but we would expect that the chosen candidate will be able to quickly learn new technology areas and be able to convert that knowledge into clear and effective instructional content.
  • Creating and maintaining new curriculum will require the successful candidate to work closely with Client's Sales Engineers, Product Managers and Support Engineers to understand, capture and disseminate complex technical concepts and working practices.

Skills:
Education/Training
  • Qualified to degree level in IT/Communications technology or instructional design, educational technology
  • Qualifications in instructional design or learning delivery an advantage
  • Professional vendor certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco and/or Microsoft a distinct advantage

Experience/Knowledge
  • Proven working experience in instructional design
  • Strong Technical IT skills including data networking and Unified Communications
  • Professional documentation creation skills using Microsoft Office
  • Solid knowledge of course development software such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate or similar
  • Proven working experience in technical writing, writing effective copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts
  • Strong presenter with the experience of creating and delivering customized training
  • Technical skills in Unified Communications including Polycom / Microsoft / Cisco / BlueJeans considered a strong advantage

Languages
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Other languages will be advantageous
