Mid-Level Corporate Associate - Technology Companies | New York | Up to $350,000 A leading international law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Corporate Associate to join its highly regarded Tech M&A Team in New York.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to work with innovative, high-growth technology companies across all stages of their lifecycle. The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of sophisticated corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and private and public securities offerings.
The role offers significant client exposure and responsibility, with the opportunity to work both collaboratively within deal teams and independently on key aspects of transactions.
Key Responsibilities: Advising emerging growth and technology companies on a wide range of corporate matters
Managing and executing early and late-stage venture capital financings
Supporting and leading aspects of M&A transactions
Assisting with private and public securities offerings
Working closely with founders, investors, and corporate clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
Requirements: Mid-level associate experience gained at a leading law firm
Strong background representing technology companies in corporate transactions
Experience with venture financings, M&A, and/or capital markets transactions
Ability to manage substantial components of transactions independently
Outstanding academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Admission to the relevant bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
Compensation: Salary up to $350,000, dependent on experience
