Job DescriptionOverviewThe Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for driving interdisciplinary systems integration, interface coordination, and deliverable readiness across complex project environments, ensuring that engineering outputs are aligned, decision-ready, and delivered in accordance with project requirements.
Your role- Responsible for day-to-day interdisciplinary integration, interface coordination, and verification of engineering deliverables against the approved project scope and delivery requirements.
- Ensures engineering inputs across disciplines are consistent, compatible, and ready for delivery by maintaining visibility of technical interfaces and coordination dependencies across packages.
- Works with Design Leads to identify interdisciplinary design issues and Early Warning Notices at the earliest opportunity and records them in the project issues log.
- Monitors engineering inputs and coordination through Issues Log for tracking and resolution.
- Tracks RFIs, assumptions, risks, deviations, interface control documents, and open issues within ACC to provide clear deliverable status visibility and escalate items requiring timely decisions or resolution.
- Prepares and maintains integration documentation, including design briefs, assumption logs, design decision logs, RFI logs, interface records, and presentations.
- Supports delivery certainty by helping internal teams produce documentation in approved formats and by supporting risk, hazard, and safety management inputs when required.
About you- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. PMI and INCOSE certifications such as PMP and ASEP/CSEP desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong academic foundation in systems, electrical, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and integration on major rail/transit, infrastructure, or other complex systems projects.
- Familiarity with design software and project management tools, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, manage data, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between $80,700 - $111,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
