Systems Engineer Level 1

Description

Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Fort Meade Customer. This role focuses on the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. The position involves working across hardware, software, networking, and Radio Frequency (RF) components to support mission-critical communications and signal processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection systems.

• Perform systems engineering activities across hardware, software, networking, and RF components.

• Assist with the development and integration of RF and signal processing systems for communications applications.

• Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation.

• Conduct system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.

• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support system sustainment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph through this customer is required.

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant systems engineering experience required.

• Experience supporting systems engineering activities across hardware, software, networking, and RF components.

• Experience with RF and signal processing systems development.

• Experience supporting system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation.

• Knowledge of system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation.

• Strong technical documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Salary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
