Job Summary:
The Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Systems Administrator will be responsible for administering, designing, and implementing large-scale IBM ACE infrastructures across AWS and on-premises environments. The role requires strong expertise in IBM ACE and IBM MQ, infrastructure performance tuning, certificate management, disaster recovery strategies, and cloud infrastructure administration. The candidate will also support CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation using Python, Shell scripting, and AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and administer large-scale IBM ACE infrastructures across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Manage and support IBM MQ infrastructure and related integrations.
• Analyze and optimize IBM ACE performance, with in-depth knowledge of logging, troubleshooting, and memory management.
• Implement and manage IBM ACE certificate management processes.
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, including regional and site failover.
• Manage IBM ACE environments across Linux and AIX operating systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure services, including IAM, S3, EC2, SNS, and Lambda.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale IBM ACE infrastructures across AWS and on-premises environments.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM MQ.
• Strong expertise in IBM ACE performance analysis and tuning, including logs and memory management.
• Experience implementing IBM ACE certificate management.
• Experience designing disaster recovery strategies involving regional and site failover.
• Experience managing IBM ACE in Linux and AIX environments.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
• Subject matter expertise in Python, Shell scripting, and AWS.
• Expertise in AWS services, including IAM, S3, EC2, SNS, and Lambda.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification.
