Job DescriptionShort Role Presentation:As a System Validation Engineer, you will plan, execute, and monitor verification activities for industrial variable frequency drives across IR200 to IR1300 projects. You will support end-to-end system requirement validation within the E-cooling GBE, working with global and industrial standards while contributing to hardware and product validation when needed.
What you'll do: Work closely with design teams to understand product requirements, translate customer test needs into robust validation plans, and define test scenarios aligned to V-cycle milestones. Specify ECU hardware and communication interfaces and lead hardware/software integration and acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain validation tools and environments using LabVIEW, CANoe, or CANape; create automated test solutions; troubleshoot and debug test equipment; and document issues, reports, and technical conclusions with stakeholders, including support for DFMEA and long-term validation activities close to customer operating conditions.
What we need: Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, or System Engineering.
Experience: 3+ years in validation engineering covering electrical hardware and software testing; product launch exposure and experience in engineering test environments are strongly valued.
Skills: Strong system-level DV/PV validation knowledge, clear communication and presentation skills, and hands-on expertise with industrial protocols (MODBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, CAN), scripting (Python/CAPL), and calibration/diagnostic tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, and CANape.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this role is between $106000 and $156000
*Note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, education, training, and/or experience. In exceptional circumstances, compensation may exceed the posted salary range.
