  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with the complete lifecycle of a functionally safe sensing product (e.g., radar, lidar, camera) used in automotive or industrial applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and firmware engineers, to allocate requirements and ensure system-wide safety goal alignment.
  • Lead and contribute to system-level verification and validation (V&V) activities, defining test strategies and ensuring comprehensive coverage of all safety requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully shipping at least one sensing product that has achieved ISO 26262 ASIL-B certification or an equivalent functional safety standard.

Required (Basic Qualifications):
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems engineering role, with at least 3 years directly involved in the development of functionally safe products.
  • Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge and hands-on application of ISO 26262, particularly Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience using a dedicated requirements management tool, with a strong preference for Jama Connect.
