Position Summary
The System Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, design, analysis, and reliability of the electric distribution system. This position performs engineering studies, evaluates system performance and capacity, and develops recommendations for system improvements to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of electric service.
The System Engineer works closely with operations, engineering, and other departments to support system planning, construction projects, reliability initiatives, and the Cooperative's long-term infrastructure needs.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering highly preferred
- Three to five years of engineering experience, preferably within the electric utility industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred
