We seek a passionate professional to drive supplier quality excellence in welding, collaborating with dedicated teams to develop robust solutions that ensure safety and reliability. As a team manager, you will own complex challenges and contribute to a legacy of innovation in rail mobility.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Lead scalable supplier quality initiatives for welding processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting global supply chain growth.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between engineering, procurement, and suppliers to optimize quality outcomes and resolve technical issues.
  • Implement rigorous reliability assessments and continuous improvement programs to minimize defects and enhance product performance.
  • Drive innovation by introducing advanced welding technologies and methodologies, elevating Alstom's competitive edge.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and training across teams and suppliers, building a culture of quality and expertise.


Frequent travels in US and Canada- 50 to 70% of the time

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality development, welding, or manufacturing quality management.
  • Proficiency in welding standards (AWS, ISO), quality tools (APQP, PPAP), and supplier audit techniques.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and process validation in welding environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to manage teams and drive results.
