~Have 7-10 years of infield infrastructure project experience.
~Have experience in telecommunications (voice, data, low voltage, etc.)

Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

Position: Superintendent II

Location: Atrium Health - greater Charlotte area; Onsite and Remote

Full Time; 1st Shift

~Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates work for multiple teams and assumes responsibility for all on-site activities including safety, manpower, quality and productivity
  • Oversees individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents quality control and auditing,
  • Directs subordinates and contractors so work is handled in a safe manner
  • Manages the permit and inspection process for government relations
  • Inspects projects to monitor progress and compliance with System standards
  • Manages the Infection Control and Safety Program (PCA) safety and health
  • Secures parts and supplies/select and requests materials appropriate to the job purchasing,
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to implement work and diagnose problems with minimal supervision
  • Assists with commissioning of design drawings to identify errors and omissions or equipment standards and accessibility issues as assigned
  • Assists with documentation of project expenses, close out documents, timesheets and work orders using computer based systems and markup drawings to reflect changes and as-built conditions
  • Makes recommendations based on applicable codes, standards and best practices regulatory compliance
  • Develops budgets, schedules and obtains approved funding for projects budgeting
  • Manages projects using current project management software
  • Supervises numerous jobs at multiple locations as assigned
  • Evaluates job priorities and performs complex job related tasks with minimal direction. In the absence of other trades personnel, performs a variety of repairs within their specified trade on any and all equipment as required and ensures that safety and patient care are not affected

Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be mobile to include ability to access rooftops and crawl spaces. In performance of duties, will be required to climb, lift, crawl, squat, and kneel.
  • Possible exposure to electrical shock hazards, severe weather conditions, infectious diseases, and hazardous chemicals


Education, Experience and Certifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years applicable trade experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Relevant technical school preferred.
  • Other equivalents will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
