Your Role
As a Structural Engineer in our Forensics Practice, you will investigate structural performance issues, conduct failure analyses, and evaluate damage resulting from events such as storms, impacts, construction defects, or material degradation. Youll contribute to technical investigations, expert reporting, litigation support, and remediation design, gaining foundational skills in the forensic process. With support from your team, you will work on projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, ideal for engineers eager to grow their technical and creative skills.This is a full-time position starting Winter 2027.
What Youll Do
Conduct structural analysis and diagnostic evaluations for damaged or distressed structures.
Prepare clear, detailed reports and visual documentation for technical and legal audiences.
Participate in site inspections and field investigations, including evidence collection.

What You9ll Bring
Bachelor9s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master9s or PhD preferred.
Familiarity with forensic investigation techniques and structural analysis tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, PCA software, Revit, or AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow through feedback.
A detail-oriented approach with the ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts and check your work with care and curiosity.
Compensation
The rate for this position generally is$78,000-$92,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful California applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byCaliforniaEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee9s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.Benefits
