Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ years of relevant engineering experience
Design coursework or experience in structural steel and/or concrete
EIT certification preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI standards
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and detailed design coordination for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply relevant codes and standards while coordinating designs with multiple disciplines
Assist senior engineers with large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support

JOB DUTIES
Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ Years of experience
