Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
Design experience or coursework in structural steel/concrete design
EIT certification preferred but not mandatory
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in software tools: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI)
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply relevant codes and standards; coordinate designs with various disciplines
Assist senior engineers with large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Field time and travel are minimal but may be required occasionally

JOB DUTIES
Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
