Standard Job DescriptionLockheed Martin Space is seeking a Strategic Planner Senior Staff to join our Enterprise Strategy team in Littleton, CO! This position supports Long Range Planning (LRP), Strategic Planning Conference (SPC), Strategic Forecast Model (SFM), Generational Investments, and other strategic enterprise initiatives within Lockheed Martin Space. This position will be responsible for leading high-visibility, strategic-level engagements for Lockheed Martin Space's Enterprise Strategy team, directly supporting our Corporate Headquarters partners. This role will help drive strategic initiatives, corporate strategic planning cycle workstreams, and ad hoc projects in partnership with Lockheed Martin Corporate Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual Strategic Planning Cycle - Lead annual corporate strategic planning cycle engagements, partnering with Lockheed Martin Space central and business leadership to support LRP, SPC, SFM, and Generational Investments processes.
Project Management & Execution - Lead cross-functional project teams (engineering, business development, finance, supply chain, legal, etc.) to drive strategic iniatives supporting both Lockheed Martin Corporate Headquaters and Lockheed Martin Space partners
Stakeholder Communication - Prepare executive decks and senior leader presentations that clearly articulate strategic insights, implications, and project milestones to broad stakeholder audiences.
Strategic Insight & Continuous Improvement - Analyze portfolio strategies to identify technology and capability gaps at the Business Area (BA) level. - Stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments that could affect Lockheed Martin Space.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of related experience, ideally in a comparable strategic planning, project management, business development, or strategic finance (transactions, investment banking, FP&A) role
- Exceptional Powerpoint and strong Excel skills
- Experience using Powerpoint to communicate strategic insights, recommendations, and other complex ideas to executive level audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- US Citizen
Desired Skills- Master's degree in a related discipline
- Direct experience in or exposure to corporate strategic planning cycle
- Experience working in corporate strategy, a strategic consultancy, or related
- Space, Aerospace & Defense, or related technology/manufacturing sector experience
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
