Full Job Description

The Strategic Manufacturing Project Manager leads and supports strategic manufacturing initiatives from concept through implementation. This position collaborates with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain, Finance, Real Estate, and other business functions to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. The role requires project management capabilities, manufacturing knowledge, financial oversight, change management expertise, and the ability to influence and coordinate across diverse teams and departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field. PMP, CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications preferred.

Experience:5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, project management, facilities management, or a related field.

Travel:  25-75%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with other operations functions to seamlessly implement new products, strategic projects, operational changes, and daily workflows.
  • Provide hands-on support for all key Operations initiatives, partnering closely with PMs and the Real Estate team.
  • Monitor and control budgets diligently to ensure all projects and operational activities meet strict timelines and financial targets.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new systems, processes, methods, and projects across the organization.
  • Support teams through transitions, minimizing friction and maximizing tool adoption.
  • Act as a bridge between departments, collaboratively working with all business functions to drive overall company alignment and success.
  • Coordinate facility and equipment preventive maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational work environment.
  • Understand and apply government regulations relevant to our industry, ensuring 100% compliance across all physical and operational projects.
  • Partner with the Real Estate team on facility upgrades, space planning, and site readiness.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for key teams within various business functions to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
