Cast-in-place and precast segmental bridge erection
Cable-stayed bridge construction
Heavy civil concrete structures
Industrial tanks and containment structures
Bridge rehabilitation, lifting, and repair
Complex reinforcing steel and formwork systems
Lead and oversee field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution
Provide direct leadership to Superintendents, Foremen, craft professionals, and subcontractors
Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Division Leadership to align manpower, equipment, schedules, and production goals
Support project planning, logistics, constructability reviews, and execution strategies
Identify productivity trends, resource constraints, and operational risks across projects and implement corrective actions
Participate in hiring, workforce development, performance management, and succession planning for field leadership
Champion and reinforce the Company’s 24/7 safety culture across all projects
Lead pre-project planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safe Execution Planning (SEP) activities
Conduct field audits and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and owner-specific safety standards
Mentor field leadership on proactive safety practices and accountability
Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee all phases of heavy civil concrete construction including:
Reinforcing steel installation
Complex formwork systems
Concrete placement and finishing
Post-tensioning operations
Structural and bridge construction activities
Direct operations involving gang forms, jump forms, falsework, shoring systems, custom formwork, and engineered erection plans
Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, QA/QC requirements, and industry standards
Coordinate inspections with owners, engineers, and third-party agencies
Lead complex concrete placement operations including elevated decks, walls, piers, mass pours, tanks, and specialty structures
Develop and manage look-ahead schedules, work plans, sequencing strategies, and resource forecasts
Coordinate labor, material deliveries, equipment utilization, and subcontractor activities across multiple projects
Work collaboratively with estimating and preconstruction teams to provide constructability input and operational planning support
Assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization, production improvements, and schedule recovery
Ensure field execution meets all contract requirements, tolerances, and quality expectations
Resolve constructability issues, drawing discrepancies, and field conflicts
Maintain oversight of QA/QC documentation, inspection processes, and technical compliance
Promote best practices in concrete construction, post-tensioning, bridge erection, and field operations
Mentor and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and emerging field leaders
Support implementation of company initiatives, training programs, and operational standards
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
10–15+ years of heavy civil construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibility
Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Extensive experience with structural concrete construction, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and engineered formwork systems
Experience with bridge construction, post-tensioning, segmental erection, or cable-stayed structures strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, sequencing, and constructability
Proven ability to lead and mentor field management teams across multiple projects
Strong understanding of scheduling, productivity tracking, labor forecasting, and operational planning
Experience coordinating with owners, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Procore, and construction management software
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to travel and/or relocate to project sites for extended durations as required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
