Success in this role means identifying the right opportunities, getting the right people in the room, building thought leadership and brand awareness, generating qualified leads and pipeline, and maximizing ROI from every event.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute major industry events, executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, and other strategic activations.
  • Identify and evaluate events, sponsorships, partnerships, and other opportunities based on strategic value and potential ROI.
  • Build targeted executive and attendee lists, and drive attendance through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives, brands, agencies, studios, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, partnerships, and leadership teams to ensure events support broader business goals.
  • Own event execution end to end, including planning, outreach, logistics, stakeholder coordination, follow-up, and measurement.
  • Track event performance, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and overall ROI.
  • Continuously identify new event formats, partnerships, and opportunities that can strengthen OpenArt's market presence.
Requirements
  • Native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional execution and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams with speed, accuracy, and strong follow-through.
  • Strong ownership and initiative - able to proactively identify opportunities and problems, develop practical solutions, and drive them through execution.
  • Strong communication skills and sales instincts, with confidence engaging senior executives, making direct calls, and proactively driving attendance and outcomes.
  • Strategic and first-principles thinking - able to identify the core problem, challenge assumptions, and determine the most effective approach.
  • Strong business sense and street smarts - resourceful, creative, and comfortable finding unconventional ways to make things happen.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel based on event needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in advertising, media, entertainment, film, AI, creative technology, or related industries.
  • Experience running major industry events and/or high-touch executive events, with demonstrated business impact.
  • Background in sales, business development, partnerships, field marketing, or experiential marketing.
  • Strong network and relationships with brands, advertising agencies, studios, or senior leaders across advertising, media, and entertainment.
  • Experience building new programs, event strategies, or initiatives from 0 to 1.
Work Setup
  • U.S.-based.
  • Preferably located in the Bay Area or Los Angeles.
  • Travel required based on event needs.
