The Strategic Analytics Partner III is responsible for orchestrating and delivering high-impact insights, strategic framing, and execution-ready analytics that support Retail Operations priorities across Love's.

Job Functions:
  • Support the Retail Operations Pod by delivering actionable insights aligned to enterprise growth and operational priorities
  • Translate complex analytics into clear "what happened, why it matters, and what we should do next" recommendations that enable faster and better decision-making
  • Develop and maintain trusted measurement frameworks that evaluate operational performance, identify opportunities, and quantify business impact
  • Provide analytical leadership supporting fuel pricing strategy and performance evaluation
  • Develop a clear understanding of market conditions, competitive pricing behavior, demand trends, and pricing effectiveness to identify opportunities that improve traffic, volume, and profitability
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure pricing decisions are informed by sound analytics and aligned with broader business objectives
  • Support strategic decisions related to new store development, site selection, remodel prioritization, and network optimization
  • Evaluate demographic, competitive, traffic, and operational factors that influence investment decisions and long-term performance
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that improve capital allocation and help the organization prioritize growth opportunities across existing and emerging markets
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to Retail Operations leadership by framing key business questions, defining success metrics, and guiding analytical priorities
  • Lead identification of information needs and development of analytics plans aligned with enterprise objectives
  • Provide insights-driven thought leadership that informs operational strategy, investment decisions, and long-term business planning
  • Lead cross-functional dialogue to synthesize insights into clear strategic recommendations and execution plans
  • Coordinate contributions from Data Science, Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics Governance partners to deliver integrated insights and business solutions
  • Communicate findings, implications, and recommendations to senior leadership in concise, decision-oriented formats
  • Influence outcomes by aligning stakeholders around insights-led actions and priorities while building strong relationships across the organization
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical capabilities, methodologies, tools, and processes that support Retail Operations
  • Stay current on developments in retail operations, fuel pricing, location analytics, competitive intelligence, and industry best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement in how insights are generated, communicated, and activated to create measurable business value

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in retail analytics, business analytics, strategic consulting, finance, operations, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required. Master's degree (or equivalent) preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading complex analytical initiatives and influencing cross-functional decision-making
  • Experience identifying opportunities, trends, risks, and business insights from large and complex data sets
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
  • General understanding of retail, operations, pricing, real estate, or related business functions
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in retail, convenience, fuel, hospitality, logistics, or other consumer-facing businesses preferred
